Charles P. Graves, of Riverside, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 9, in conjunction with the death of Regina Dowling, 63, on Nov. 29, 2019, said Greenwich Police Capt. Robert Berry.
According to police, Graves was driving his vehicle on South Beach Avenue when he allegedly improperly turned onto Station Drive South, striking Dowling as she was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk, Berry said.
Dowling later died from her injuries.
After an extensive investigation, and consultation with the Stamford State Attorney's Office, Greenwich police submitted an arrest warrant for Graves, Berry added.
Graves was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, making an improper turn, and failing to grant the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
He was processed and released after posting a $10,000 court set bond.
Graves is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Jan. 23.
